Hi, I'm Carol!


I'm here to guide you on your real estate journey. My role is to listen patiently to your needs, provide market insights, simplify the complex, manage expectations and contract timelines, while keeping all parties calm.


Education / Experience

I have 20 years of real property experience, a B.A. in Public Relations/French from Penn State University, Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, and Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from Harvard University. I have a deep understanding of capital markets and mortgage tools as I held a Series 7 license and served as an Account Executive for entities like Credit Suisse and other financial institutions. For the past eight years, I worked for Freddie Mac helping to develop programs and initiatives that support homeowners and renters nationwide. Additionally, my husband and I have owned and managed rental properties for the last 15 years in Northern Virginia. Part of my strategy as a Realtor - involves leveraging powerful data analytics, innovative technology, and cutting-edge marketing.


For many, a home represents comfort, security, and belonging. It can build generational wealth and provides a great hedge against inflation. It is typically the largest financial transaction for many and can be filled with mixed emotions.

I love all aspects but I truly enjoy working with clients to help them actualize their housing/investment goals. I view success as making sure my clients are happy with my advice/service and recommend me to others.

Personal life

I was born in Bogota, Colombia but raised in Alexandria, Virginia. Constantly traveling back and forth with my family gave me a flexible and adaptive mindset but also understand the value of finding a place(s) that makes you feel at home. For me "home" is in Falls Church with my husband, son and Bichon named Snowball. The passion for real estate runs in our family and grateful I get to help others build a plan to achieve their real estate goals. When not working on a transaction, I enjoy family time, meditating, working-out, cooking or traveling.

  • Who pays for the Buyer Agent?

    Based on recent National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement with Department of Justice (DOJ) effective August 17th, Buyer will negotiate with their Realtor on compensation and document it in the Buyer Agreement. Depending on property selected, Seller may offer Buyer agent subsidy.
